Team Building Guide for Duet Night Abyss
Last updated: 26/10/2025
This guide will cover on various potential team building based on current data (CBT2). The guide will be further updated on launch with new data.
There's 6 Element in Duet Night Abyss.
- Pyro
- Hydro
- Anemo
- Electro
- Lumino
- Umbro
All 6 elements have Bonus Effect which deals periodic respective elemental
damage. With Lumino
having extra effect [Refresh Duration of All Bonus Effects] and
Umbro having extra effect
[Reduce Enemy's Stance Recovery Speed].
Elements also have advantage and disadvantage over each other.
Hydro
deals more damage to
Pyro,
Pyro
deals more damage to
Anemo,
Anemo
deals more damage to
Electro, and
Electro
deals more damage to
Hydro. Meanwhile, the
opposite is also true,
Pyro deals less damage
to
Hydro,
Anemo deals less damage
to
Pyro,
Electro deals less damage
to
Anemo, and
Hydro deals less damage
to
Electro. Therefore
using this elemental advantage to maximize our DPS output is
crucial.
The exception to this rule is
Lumino and
Umbro, where they
oppose each other. Lumino deals increased damage to Umbro, and
Umbro deals increased
damage to
Lumino, vice versa.
Both element have no damage penalty against any element.
From this information, with some outlier that potentially ignore these
mechanism, Lumino and
Umbro is going to be the
general team used, while the 4 elemental teams can be used for specific
content with elemental weakness.

The following are the recommended template of team based on current
available data. The team building will be updated on Launch and
whenever new info come.
Feel free to use whichever team to player's liking and according to stage's
elemental weakness. It's also possible to mix-match the elements, this
is not mandatory team build, merely recommendation.
