Card Guide for Crystal of Atlan

CARD GUIDE

OVERVIEW

Card System is unlocked upon reaching level 60 and clearing Nexum Side Quest. Card System is the 4th gear system that allows player to equip 3 "deck" with their own unique bonuses. Players are able to equip 4th deck on Level 70, and 5th on Level 80 later in future. Decks are updated in the future every season with new packs.

OBTAINING CARD

Cards are obtained from various sources, mainly from Nexum reward.First clear reward from Nexum give card packs and currency to buy more on the store each season. Each pack contains 6 card, and have 50 pity for Legendary Card. Card are also obtainable from dismantling excess cards and buying from the Rhine City vending machine. Other sources are from Nexum pass and Limited-time Paid Packs occasionally.

DECKS

Decks are a set of cards that have multiple attributes. Decks can be composed of any number of these 5 attribute, Fine (5 Level), Exquisite (4 Level), Rare (3 Level), Epic(3 Level) and Special (1 Level). These attributes require fulfilling of the respective card rarity to be unlocked, Fine require all Fine cards to be obtained, Exquisite require all Exquisite cards to be obtained, Rare require all Rare cards to be obtained, Epic require all Epic cards to be obtained, and Special can only be unlocked after all previous attributes are unlocked. Each level of the attributes require fulfilling the whole rarity dupe to unlock the next level. Each level upgrade the attribute's special effect.

PACKS

Every season have different packs, and it's possible to get past packs in Pack Selector in the Nexum Shop. Each new pack will have 50% chance to get Pack 1 (Endless Journey) and 50% chance to get the new decks.
Example: Pack 3 will contain 50% chance of Pack 1, and 50% chance of Pack 3.

- Taking a hit applies an Erosive Decay mark. Each mark reduces your DEF by 1%. After accumulating 5 marks, clear all marks and receive a 5% DMG Bonus for 10s.

- Landing a Crit grants a Courage mark. Each Mark increases DEF by 0.1%. Up to 100 marks can be gained. Upon reaching 100 Courage Marks, Crit DMG is increased by 6% for 10s, and the stacks is cleared.

Upon hitting enemy, gain [Frenzy] effect.Each stack of [Frenzy] grants 1% DMG to bosses, and this effect can be triggered once per second. After gaining 5 stacks of [Frenzy], it transform into [Pilgrim] effect, granting 7.5% DMG to Boss for 10 seconds. When [Pilgrim] is active, cannot gain [Frenzy].

SPECIAL

Below are the list of Special pack (Pet Deck) , note that this pack is infinitely evolving:

RECOMMENDATION

During Pack 1, the recommended decks to aim are, in order of priority :

  • Ancient Guardian
  • Chrome Military Factory
  • Beast Legion

That said, since the cards you get is random, feel free to use whatever is available temporarily.
Future packs will be stronger, so saving Nexum Pass for future is a valid choice.
